The 2Sport2 consortium has secured media rights for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar across free-to-air (FTA) and pay-TV in Russia. Antenna TV bought exclusive media rights to air the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Greece. Greece’s free-to-air broadcaster will cover the tournament daily and live coverage of all 64 matches on its platforms. Ant1TV will telecast at least 32 matches, including the opening match, quarterfinals, semi-finals, and final. In Italy, Rai has acquired FIFA World Cup 2022 television, digital and radio rights. All 64 matches will be telecasted live on Rai 1 in the territory and viewers can also live stream matches via Fubo TV.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. The new agreement securing the shared exclusive rights for BBC and ITV continues the free to air broadcasting of FIFA World Cup 2022 to UK television viewers, through online live streaming and radio coverage.
